The first national tour of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival of Hello, Dolly!, starring Tony Award winner Betty Buckley,

launched earlier this week from the Stanley Theatre in Utica, New York.

The curmudgeonly character Horace Vandergelder is the latest in a long list of great comedic roles for character actor Lewis Stadlen, a 48-year Broadway veteran.

He’s playing the dour “half-a-millionaire” from Yonkers opposite Broadway legend Betty Buckley as the title character in the national tour of “Hello, Dolly!”
