Lyric Theatre’s second summer production at the Civic Center is the classic musical “Hello, Dolly!”  The story of Dolly Gallagher Levi is based on a Thornton Wilder play, with book by Michael Stewart and music and lyrics by Jerry Herman.  This is another case of a much-revised story; the original inspiration is from a British play written in 1835.
